✦ The story behind Charming
Hi, I'm
Aubree.
Bracelet maker. Business builder. Big dreamer.
I'm 13 years old, and I started Charming because I believe you're never too young to build something real. Every bracelet I make by hand is a small step toward a very big dream.
The big dream
A future at the Wharton School of Business
I have a dream: to one day attend the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania — one of the most prestigious business programs in the world. But I’m not waiting until I’m 18 to start. I’m building real business experience right now.
Charming isn’t just a bracelet shop — it’s proof that I understand marketing, pricing, customer experience, and what it takes to build something from nothing. Every sale, every bracelet, every happy customer is a chapter in a story I’m writing for my future.
The beginning
How Charming was born
Charming started with a simple idea: what if I actually built something instead of just dreaming about it?
I started hand-crafting glass bead and string bracelets, giving each one a unique name and story. The first bracelet I ever named was the Wishing Star — light pink, sky blue, and gold, with a little star charm. From there, the collection grew one bracelet at a time, each made entirely by hand.
Today, Charming has 10 named bracelets, an Etsy shop, and a growing community of people who believe in the brand — and in me.
The craft
Every bracelet is made by hand
There are no machines involved. Every single bracelet in the Charming collection is handmade by me, bead by bead, with genuine care put into every detail.
I personally select the beads, choose the color combinations, add the charms, and tie every knot. Each bracelet is then packaged beautifully before it ships. When you wear a Charming bracelet, you’re wearing something a real person made with real hands — and a lot of love.
Beyond the bracelets
Student, athlete & artist
Running Charming is just one part of who I am. I’m also a straight-A student, committed to proving that hard work in the classroom and in business go hand in hand.
I’m a vocal ensemble member at school — I love how music brings people together. And I train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where I’ve earned my grey belt. I don’t just train, I compete: I’ve stepped onto the mat at Jiu-Jitsu World League competitions and earned a bronze medal — because on the mat, you earn what you get.
I believe in building a full life, not just a brand.
